What we collect when you contact us or visit this website, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is run by Your Dream Event by 4A (Paramithenies Dimiourgies), an event planning and styling studio based in Meneou, Larnaca, Cyprus. We are the “controller” of the personal information described here, which means we decide how it is used.

What we collect
- When you send an enquiry through our form: your name, email address, mobile number and country, and whatever you choose to tell us about your event, such as the type of celebration, date or season, number of guests, location, budget, a package you are interested in, and your message.
- When you email, call or message us (including on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram): your contact details and what you write to us.
- When we plan your event: the details needed to deliver it, such as names, dates, venues, preferences and payment records.
- When you browse this website: basic technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type. If you accept analytics cookies, also how you use the site (see Cookies below).
Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health details, through the form. If something like a dietary or accessibility need matters for your event, we can talk about it when we plan together.

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who handle information on our behalf and only under our instructions:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the enquiry form when you press send.
- Brevo delivers the emails the form sends: the notification to us and the confirmation to you.
- Lark provides our business email inbox, where enquiries and replies are kept.
- Google provides Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) and the fonts used on this website, which your browser loads from Google’s servers.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any conversation you choose to start with us on WhatsApp.
When you book with us, we share only what is needed with the venues and suppliers delivering your event, such as florists, caterers and photographers. We may also share information if the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by recognised safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 24 months, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, then deleted.
- Client files, invoices and payment records: for as long as Cyprus tax and accounting law requires, generally six years after the end of the tax year concerned.
- Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We only set non-essential cookies if you click Accept on the cookie bar.

You can change your choice at any time with the link, which is also at the bottom of every page. Declining removes our Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Links to our Facebook and Instagram pages are ordinary links: those sites set their own cookies only if you visit them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it or to delete it;
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to our use of it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time, without affecting anything before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, contact us at enquiries@yourdream-event.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, 1 Iasonos Street, 1082 Nicosia, Cyprus, www.dataprotection.gov.cy, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
